But isn't BBC the holy cow of world media? Something to look up to and emulate? In't it truly independent?
I have always maintained that BBC (and any western media for that matter) are equal partners in "The Exploitation Machine" that was colonialism and which is now the post-colonial order. Also referred to as the "New World Order" after the collapse of the USSR, or "the end of history" as a half-cocked Fukuyama exclaimed almost a decade ago.
