“What makes you think there is no establishment? ”

Quoth the Raven...

Well I think there isn’t one in the sense that an “establisment” is more like the “roots” of a country and the pillers (trunks) of state grow out of it. The establishment is the class which is the real beneficiary but it also leaves enough for the nation to be healthy enough to do the wealth creation.

I always try to distinguish ours as “a suicidal kleptocracy” instead of an ‘establishment’. An establishment is a class that despite being rich identifies with the land, values being ‘the dominant player” in the land on a permanent basis. But the necessary condition for such a class is an identity and for that identity to be in line with the nation and it’s aspirations.

You are right in saying that they have permanent interests but temporary allies and the characterization of moshe is apt. But what I’d like to add here is that for a country the size of Pakistan (population, demographics, geo-graphics, resources) the conditions are right to have a indigenous National Establishment which actually does not compete to the death with the 99.99999% of the population for the dwindling resources, rather, it is a shepherd of these masses.

What _we_ have is a “remote controlled kleptocracy” which does not believe in the BS it shoves down every 1st grader’s throat. A kleptocracy that uses identity as a vehicle for stealing and robbing the people. A kleptocracy which knows quite well how un-sustainable it’s policies are. Therefore it keeps its own nest eggs in safe bank accounts in Switzerland while OUR banking system goes to hell in a handbasket.

What we have is more akin to a 'colonist' gang which still maintains a net flow of wealth out of the the country at the behest of those (foreigners) it needs to maintain it’s legitimacy and power at home (as it doesn’t draw it’s power from the people, on the contrary, it is suspicious and contemptuous of them).

Also, this group we mistakenly call our “establishment” is lazy. It is incompetent. It leaves the hard work of strategizing to the foreigners. It is not the foreigners who “go along” as you mentioned in your response to @peja, rather, it is the kleptocracy that does not take any steps unless it is ordered by it’s foreign bosses. Obviously there are pockets of nationalism and some semblance of self respect.. but in general, this class is a mercenary class which fulfills the objectives of the foreign powers through its crimes of commission and more importantly omission.

So that is why I say we have no Establishment in the sense that nations do eg UK, US, India, Japan, China, Russia, France. What we have here is a Kleptocracy which is suicidal due to its own ignorance and laziness. A closer (IMO) equivalent of Mush is probably Hosni Mobarak or one of those FAKE “monarchs” of Arabia.

Funny you mentioned Russia. I consider moshe to be more akin to Yeltsin. Completely under the sway of the foreginers.. and not really paying attention to the carrion eating that was going on as the dogs ripped apart mother russia.

Putin seems to have brought some semblance of order back to russia. He put those 12 thieves (wonder who provided the seed money for these simple college professors and professionals — now worth billions each) in line and he DID have the russian establishment at his back. You see, the establishment is a slower moving creature than even the revolutions.. (I think) … so it survived the purges and put a new garb on for 80 or so years. But it identifies with Russia. It makes Russia its permanent playground, a land with which it rises and falls, it lives and dies.

Our kanjars don’t consider our beautiful country anything more than their dead mother off of whose bones they can rip some more flesh off to drag into their foreign dens. They do not identify with this land (call it Pakistan, Abaseen, Land of Indus whatever) .. They are not “established” here, neither in body nor spirit, and therefore they are NOT “the establishment”.

At best they are kleptocratic mercenaries brave enough to rob their own motherland. They are for sale. on really cheap prices. They sell our honour and our inheritance for a few shekels.

I would welcome an establishment, as it is in the vested interest of an “establishment” to make sure it’s chattel are well fed and well clothed, well employed so they can create more and more wealth for it. What we have is just a group of degenerate thieves who ought to be purged and their properties confiscated at the first opportunity.

Zardari to Pakistanis "Establishment Khappay!!"

In response to a question about Zardaro's response to "Pakistan na khappay" as 'proof' that he's working in larger interest of Pakistan.

@establishment:

“why ppp’s guys play guilt game that zardari saved the country from breaking. ”

Just saw ur comment:

I dunno.. I guess these are the last straws they’re clutching at. The fact is, Zardari has shown himself to be a petty political animal but not a statesman and a visionary leader. Benazir was halfway there, but at least she learned one thing from Bhutto Sb. and that was to read the mood of the public.

Zardari on the other hand, has NEVER DONE populist politics. He always stayed under the gigantic shadow of BB, was looked at by suspicion by the (now old guard) big-dogs / workers and was kept away from party politics as much as possible precisely for these reasons.

I consider him as a “neo conservative” par-excellence in the Pakistani context. His father did leftits politics.. and paid the price along with the rest of NAP, ANP blah blah .. but Zardari, if you see the arc of _his_ life.. showed a non-political, non-populist streak.. he showed a “going away” from the people. This was another reason he was “picked” as a stud to inseminate the great Bhutto mare, but to stay away and out of her way.. on her way to Destiny.

Now fate has brought him to this juncture. Some people even suggest his hand was in it. In any case, the cry “Pakistan na Khappay” was more like “This kind of Pakistan na khappay!” .. and the PPP and Sindhi’s are still on that path. Something Zardari now refuses to accept as he gets comfortable in the “AaaGhosh” of the faujistanic-establishment and assumes a fetal position and starts to suck his thumb calling out mommy! mommy! every 5 seconds…

Zardari couldn’t save Pakistan if he wanted to. Actually what he is doing is taking Pakistan towards balkanization.. The opposite is the crap that the Americans have been feeding him… He’s a weakling… so we see Americans having to meet him every two days to ’stabilize his spine’ because he has no vision, no principle, no ideology and the Americans have to keep working on him.. otherwise he’ll go and do another “Wadi-e-Neelam Accord”

So, NO, Zardaro didn’t save Pakistan. Half the people who claim to be shrill supporters of Zardaro these days are actually MQM media cell people. You can tell from the heinous manner in which they carry on with their slash-n-burn “discourse”.. Most of the PPP workers are in hiding at the despicable behaviour of their “shareek chairman”..

The fact the Peja and Fahim23 are not posting as much these days but SadSack and Poof747 (who under different ID’s probably justified mass murder by Moshe Qatil Movement in earlier times) are now the flag bearers of Zardari Bachao Movement, should tell us the kind of company Mr. Zee is willing to keep.

Rehmaan Dacoit to keep the peace in Liyari
Rehmaan Dakeet to keep the peace in the Land.

Need I say more?

The Future Part II - "Things to Come"

While we are busy trying to get the judiciary restored as STEP ZERO, great things are afoot!

  • Italy has a new fascist outlook (Burlesconi is back, Rome has a neo-fascist mayor)
  • london just "elected" a conservative mayor.
  • France already has a neo-con zionist President (whose "hungarian father" just happens to be a jew)
  • Screws are tightening in Syria.
  • Iran is being given the final rites, being lulled in thinking OH THEY'LL NEVER!
  • Pakistan is witness to a make or break fight - Moshe Kutyaan is fighting a desperate battle to secure the interests of the foreigners.
  • Democrats are being made to dissipate their victory in the primaries.. Obama's momentum is lost and he's losing quickly.. Hillary will go as "independent" if she doesn't get the nomination. The unthinkable and weird may happen and John "bomb bomb bom eye-ran" McCain may actually win??
  • Maybe Moshe is trying to hang on by the skin of his teeth till an unexpected Republican win?

I think the ducks are being lined up for the next phase of the "great game" ... the breakup of Pakistan will commence in earnest as soon as McCain is elected. By taking a dive and denying a really populist leader like Obama, the Clintons will ensure their entry into the American Establishment (yes.. it takes THAT much to be part of the American establishment) and also the Carlyle Group (Which by the way will have plenty of money because of all the new wars they are planning).

Our "Democratic Forces" are a bunch of pu$$ies and they are not going to stand their ground. Kiyani will be the new Martial Law administrator, and the new jurnails are going to Rule pakistan for 20 years Burma Style.

All they need is an excuse. And a certain chooran devi and his demons will provide any kind of service that is necessary (in return for the coastal strip of Pakistan all the way to Gawadar -- which US/UK will recognize posthaste).

Isn't it fun being chums ???
